Students...
Currently, winter 2013, class is scheduled in room 243 during Block C. My prep is Block D and I can usually be found either in the library or in the co op work space across from guidance. During Blocks A and B I can also be found in the library. I am invested in your success in my course and I am therefore, at your service. If you need support with the curriculum, assignments and the like, I am happy to help. I can be reached in person or accessed via email @ [email protected]. I can also be reached at home by phone @ 705-887-1672 before 9:00 pm. I don't mind being called at home, and in fact would prefer it if you call if you are sending me an after hours email, so that I know to look for it. I would much rather be able to provide assistance to you, than to have you struggle with the course on your own.
Parents and other supporters...
Please feel free to contact me regarding any questions or concerns you may have about the progress of your teen, grandchild or someone to whom you provide care and support. My email and home phone are posted above, additionally, my voice mail at the school is 705-887-2018 extension 6211. At times during the semester, I will be in touch with you, particularly, if your teen is struggling with getting work submitted on time, as per the request of the school administration and my department. If you have a preferred method of communication, please let me know at your earliest convenience by voice mail or email.
P.S. I am open to suggestions and input regarding the course and this online classroom. I am new at having a website and there may be some glitches as I try to work through this venue.
P.P.S. I want to acknowledge that some documents used in this website are adaptations of work by fellow high school teachers, both familiar and not, and would like to acknowledge their expertise and hard work involved in developing such. There are a lot more people I have talked to, asked for help and received it. Thanks!
